Danelle German (CFMG, CFCG),
Catty Shack owner and groomer, gained her cat grooming
experience from years of successfully showing her Persian cats
in CFA shows around the country. If you have been to a cat
show, you know that it is, essentially, a beauty contest for cats.
While it is important that each of the cats in competition fit
within the breed standard as defined by CFA, the final decision
by the judges often comes down to how well the cat is presented
by its owner. With Persians and other long-hair breeds, this
requires a great deal of work both at the show and prior to
arriving at the show.
Because of Danelle's competitive nature and desire to win in
competition, she spent hours upon hours developing just the
right bathing and grooming regimen to best enhance each of her
Persian cats' coats. These products and techniques have carried
over into her grooming business where she has trained her
employees to accomplish the same results on each cat that
comes in for grooming.
